Roof Replacement in Ontario, CA

When repairs stop holding, we tear the old roof down to the wood, fix what is under it, and put on a new roof built for Inland Empire heat. You get a written quote first, and nothing starts until you say yes.

How to Know It Is Time

A roof rarely fails all at once. It leaks in one spot, then another. Patches stop lasting a full season. If we have repaired the same roof three times in a few years, a new roof usually costs less than the next round of repairs.

Other signs are easy to see from the ground. Shingles that curl or lose their grit. Tiles that slide out of line. Daylight in the attic. A roof over 25 years old with any of these is worth a real look.

What Happens on Your Job

Day one is the tear off. The crew strips the old roof into a bin parked in your driveway. Then we walk the deck and mark every soft board. We replace those before any new material goes down, and we show you photos of what we found.

Next comes the new underlayment, flashing at every wall and pipe, and drip edge at the eaves. Then the tile or shingles go on. Most houses take two to four days, depending on size, pitch and weather.

The city inspects the work before it is closed out. We schedule that and meet the inspector. You do not have to be home for it.

Tile, Shingle or Something Else

Most homes from Ontario Ranch to Eastvale have concrete tile. Tile often lasts 50 years, but the paper under it does not. Many tile roofs only need that paper replaced, which we cover on our tile page.

Older ranch homes in Ontario, Montclair and Pomona often have shingles. Architectural shingles are the most common choice there because they cost less and go on fast. We go over both options with you and put the price of each in writing.

Cool Roof Rules in Our Area

Our part of California falls under state energy rules for reroofs. In many cases a full replacement has to use a product that reflects more sun. We pick materials that meet the rule and handle the paperwork with the permit.

Questions People Ask

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most homes take two to four working days. Large or steep roofs and tile jobs can take longer. We give you the expected days in the quote.

Can you put new shingles over my old ones?

We do not recommend it. A second layer hides rotten wood, adds weight and often shortens the life of the new roof. We tear off to the deck.

Do I need to be home during the work?

No. We need access to the driveway and power outlets outside. Most owners go to work as normal and check in at the end of the day.

Will you pull the permit?

Yes. We pull the permit with the city and meet the inspector for the final sign off.
